Joyce (or Marie) and I were friends all through school. We did a lot of things together. I remember going with her family to Chippewa Lake for her dad's shop picnic. RIP
I would talk with Marie at the car shows she attended with her husband. I had asked the confusion of her having Joyce or Marie as her name. She said it was Marie Joyce but that she was too shy to correct the teachers so she left it as Joyce. May the angels call out "Welcome Marie!" Such a pretty name. (Nevanka)
Sue Lozier sent a copy of Joyce’s (Marie) obituary and I added it as a picture to her In Memory page. If anyone has the link I’ll add that also. With each classmate we lose, it makes us more aware of how grateful we are to have one more day. So thankful for our AHS1968 class. Merry Christmas and blessings to each of you.

I, too, am saddened by Marie's passing, and remember her fondly as a sweet girl who was always there with a kind word and a hand of friendship.

I am trying to find her obit. Does anyone know where she was living? I don't see it in the Ashland paper? Or do you know a funeral home? Thanks
